Pure css 3d effect without javascript and optional stereo with gif

After some time of having seen this:

3D T-rex in animated gif

Recently I saw this too, so, I decided it was the time to experiment some more with 3d and css.

3d effect with css

Moving the mouse cursor over the top we can see the rotation around the letters. To get this effect we use the :hover pseudoselector.

Stereoscopy effect

Now a little more shaky. This could be the fusion of both effects. With the sensation of 3d from an animated gif, with images from each eye.

The effect improves as more difference exists between the foreground and the background. This script was of great help. And Blender , a fantastic tool, too.
